INTRODUCTION :

Computer graphics are pictures and films created using computers. Usually, the term refers to computer-generated image data created with the help of specialized graphical hardware and software.
2D :- 2D computer graphics are mainly used in applications that were originally developed upon traditional printing and drawing technologies such as typography. In those applications, the two-dimensional image is not just a representation of a real-world object, but an independent artifact with added semantic value; two-dimensional models are therefore preferred because they give more direct control of the image than 3D computer graphics, whose approach is more akin to photography than to typography.
3D :- 3D graphics, compared to 2D graphics, are graphics that use a three-dimensional representation of geometric data. For the purpose of performance, this is stored in the computer. This includes images that may be for later display or for real-time viewing.

Solid Works

For this Assignment I have used solidworks 2018 to design CHopper Blade for Composting Machine(Personal Project other than course DSL732).

I build chopper blades for my personal project with is under progress few parts of the objects was already made earlier by myself. I will be show process of designing parts of chopper parts and also their assembly in following steps.

This is the final copper Assembly which I designed in solid Works. Its Parts are as shown in second picture.

STEP 1 -

First I made 2D drawing of objects on paper for reference from which 3D CAD model need to be made.

STEP 2 -

• Select the plane for sketching the 2D Base of the part
• Draw 2D sketch and mark all the dimensions correctly.
• Use Rotate command to rotate the 2D shape around center axis.
• Enter

STEP 3 -

• Select the end plane of part made.
• Draw 2D sketch and used Extrude command to extend the shape.
• Enter

STEP 4 -

• Extruded another circular shape same as above step
• Made plane over right end of shape tangent to the cylinder.
• Draw shape to extrude cut key way space in shaft.
• Enter

Same as above step I made other parts of chopper

Assembly

• Started new drawing and selected Assembly option
• Imported all parts and assembled using Mate option in features tab.

Final Object

Now again assembling these sub assemblies to final object.

3D Model in Cinema 4D

Cinema 4D is a 3D modeling, animation, motion graphic and rendering application developed by MAXON Computer GmbH in Germany. It is capable of procedural and polygonal/subd modeling, animating, lighting, texturing, rendering, and common features found in 3D modeling applications.
